Rage with history
Envision the past to see
A future unfold.
***
It was zig-zags and
Pain that we watchfully thought.
The pain that’d shape us.
***
The steps to a door–
Shadow bathed, leading to light,
Back to the chapel.
***
Wind rustling the leaves’
Defined edges; strong middle
Grounds itself in dirt.

Looking for more,
And we ask the world to be
The beautiful Sun.
