Sunlight within reach–
Yet the whole space is a shadow.
Cool and calm and safe.

Window of stained glass,
Three angels stare back at me.
Stare, but do not see.

Construction sounds, and
Birds chirping, which is an odd
Juxtaposition

A complete stillness
Thrown into pleasant night
Why did I forget?
